- Definitely attend the appointment
- Be on time
- Be honest about your injuries
- Do not minimize your injuries but do not exaggerate either
- Keep track of how much time the doctor spends with you
You should not:
- Exaggerate your symptoms
- Lie about symptoms you don’t have
- Talk about your past injuries
- Omit details about the accident
- Say negative things about your employer
- Be rude
- Act in contrast to your injuries
- Arrive late or be a no-show
